I am getting a red haze line across top of screen about 2 inches thick. I replaced the lamp and that did not help. Any idea what the problem is and how expensive to fix?

If you understand the requirement of specialist lighting and how to handle the lamp, the cheaper option will be fine.
Make certain you rebuild the light box exactly as you took it apart.
Use a camera to take photos.

Hi there
This is probably a LCD that needs replacement , no easy fixes unfortunately !
Best would be to get it checked out by a Pro.

Wow, 3 in a row. As described on 2 other projector issues this is very similar to those others. I'll repeat the info here.
I assume this is an LCD. I don't remember the s4 being a DLP projector.
This
sounds like the LCD panel used for the blue color has gone out. The
image is made up of red, green and blue images layered upon the screen.
If the blue panel has gone out then there is nothing filtering out the
red light in the image.
It looks like yours has just a secone of the panel dying or comming loose from it's connector.
It
could be a simple open and reconnect fix. I personally have never
opened a projector, so I'm not going to walk you through it as I do not
know how hard it would be to tinker with. It should eb a cheap fix for
a true repair man though.

Shut down the projector and allow time to cool before the lamp is taken out to be examined for any dis-coloration. If so the lamp needs to be replaced, try to test using a leased lamp to confirm Also check for shift in the alignment of the lamp settings and also the Lamp alignment.
