I just got this Jenn Air...bought it 2nd hand in a store..how old is it?
We want to know how old our Jenn-Air SVE47100 range is, and any known problems with it, we just bought 2nd hand. Can not find hardly any information on line about this paticular model..can't even find any SVE models of Jenn Air.
Does anyone know the age and any known problems with this model? thank you

Have a look through this lot, there are a few problems for your model discussed, but nothing that sounds like a known problem for the model;
This link has a good description of a common problem with the model (temperature too low compared to the digital readout) and it's solution;
this link has a good collection of reviews on the stove - people were still buying them new in '98, couldn't find exactly when they started selling them;
If you have any problems and need parts, there are still many companies offering them online for this model - just type "jenn air SVE47100 parts" into google and you will get a good selection.
Sorry I had no luck finding a user manual online, free or otherwise, you could try contacting jenn air direct to see if they could send you one;
Hope this helps :)

Make sure to dsc stove or be careful ... Open the oven door and look under the panel, tools that you will need are phillips screw driver and a 5 sided bolt head tool .... there's 5 screws and 2 of the other tool.
HI. This is concerning the relay board that is installed in your unit. I would recommend to inspect the entire wiring harness that is linking the relay board to the elements, and other power component's. If the harness is ok, and connected tightly, and correctly, this will confirm that the relay board has failed. It must be replaced in the case. Be sure to inspect all wiring harness connections for corrosion before you replace the board. This could be as simple as a failed connection.
Obviously it does not work fine. The thermostat sensor or the stat itself could be an issue. Can you see the sensor 'bulb'? Clean it with oven degreaser and steelwool. What is the temp in the oven with a 'oven thermometer'? Is this consistent with the oven readout?
Don't have an installation manual anymore either. What I remember from ours (and from what I can see from the front) is that the fan connects near where the main power cord attaches to the range itself. Probably not much help, but if I can find the install manual, I'll try to provide more specifics.
