Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console

1 Answer

80010514 is it Call of Duty: World at War related?

I have a suspicion.
Please don't flame this thread, it is out of sheer desire to get to the bottom of this terrible error.
While doing research on 80010514 for a co-worker who's son's PS3 recently broke, I came across a somewhat weird pattern.
While I realize CoD: World at War is a very high selling game and many people are playing it, it does have a lot of bugs. (My copy has froze several times and I have lost my game saves, resulting in having to restart levels many times) It seems like the new increasing rash of the 80010514 error coincides with COD:WaW and many people with the error are saying that THEY are playing the game or have been playing it.

So I suppose this is a poll of sorts for people who have gotten 80010514 recently.

Did you play Call of Duty: World at War on your Playstation 3 prior to your DRE.

I REALLY DON'T WANT TO KEEP THIS GAME IF IT WILL BRICK MY CONSOLE.
