Trutech PLV1619 Clicking noise when plugged in. No pic / sound. I picked up the TV in front of a neighbors house. I'm a tinker and thought if it worked, I'll sell it, if not maybe I could get it working again. As stated above. When i plug it in, I hear a clicking from what sounds like a relay. Any ideas?

Probably has a bad power supply or bad ballast. Neither of which would be incredibly easy/ cheap to replace.

My wall oven is making a constant unusual noise

Without a model number its hard to be exact. If your oven is older it will have a clock timer motor that turns the dials or flips the clock display cards. This timer has gears and bushings that will be annoying as they wear and start a vibrating hum or clicking-usually not worth tinkering with..it can be taken out and checked or replaced. Electronic timers of course don't have any moving parts to the timer, but have relays in the circuit to turn the oven on and off. They do not 'whir'. This is the likely issue.

What is wrong with your TV?Red standby light is lit,but the TV doesn't turn on?Open the back of the TV,and look at the can shaped items on the board that the power cord is hooked to,as well as the board that goes to the screen that lights up the bulbs. If any of them have the tops,or bottoms bulged out, they need to be replaced. This should get it working again.I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions.Thank You very much!

TV wont power on, clicking noise and flashing standby led

Sounds pretty bad to me, I had a computer monitor that did a similar thing when plugged in after blowing, it's not a good thing. I didn't even bother to mess with it. You may have to replace the whole power board or at least have a whole handful of pieces to re-solder. It most likely isn't worth it unless your other tv's are under 30" and you don't have a lot of money ;)
