This has been known to happen with the Frigidaire professional series. Usually it pertains to the safety lock being jammed. Try checking out the user manual for ways to unjam it: Frigidaire professional series oven manual

Hi Glenn, thank you for allowing me to assist you!
Based on the symptoms you are describing, you may either have a communication error from the EOC (electronic oven control) or faulty door lock assembly. Let's try resetting your range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position. It is important to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn your range on. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, at this point I would highly recommend reaching out to a service technician who would be better able to assist you in the diagnosis and repair of your range. You can often locate an experienced technician in your area by going to the manufacturer website.
Hello Steven Krenz - Was the unit in self-clean mode? Try pressing and holding the "Clear/Off" button to stop any operation of the EOC. Do this at the same time while pushing and hold the light switch to the left of the door lock. Usually this will trick the oven into unlocking the door. If it is ineffective, try resetting the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and redo the steps. If door continues to maintain locked while open, the unit may possibly have a faulty door latch or a communication problem with the EOC. Contact a professional to move forward accurately.
If tripping and turning the circuit breaker off for about 10 minutes does not work, contact Frigidaire. Sounds like the control board and/or door switch will need replacing.
Hi, Cycling the power off and then on again will sometimes reset it...often you will have to call the customer service number to get the steps to take to unlock that...
F1 is an EOC (electronic oven control) failure. The control is expensive. But before you go and buy this board, you need to find a diagram to see of this model oven lock is controlled by the EOC or by a micro switch. If you have a lock button on the board the you have to replace the EOC.
Generally There is a motor that lets the latch slide out and catch the door either this latch motor isn't getting power from the board or the motor is bad. You will have to need a volt meter and a wire diagram, and take the covers off to see the motor and board.
Always remove power until you get the item open and can see whats going on before reapplying power. If you don't feel confident I recommend calling in a repair man.
