Stuck in "Record Mode."

Used this new camcorder for 5 days with great results. Suddenly, it is stuck in "record pause" mode and I cannot get it out. I should be able to get it out by pushing the white start button, but when I do that nothing happens.

Take it back to the dealer while you can! Either let them show you how to prevent this or give you a new one.

My panasonic vhsc camcorder will playback video and sound but it will not record sound what is wrong?

Sounds like the tape particles have stuck to the sound heads, just buy a head cleaner for camera, run it on record mode for 25 seconds max ok.

proper focus in any camera will see colors ..or else record in b& w and in bad focus... make sure your macro mode is off and norm-auto on... most focus problems are due to dropping or stuck lenses.

night mode might mean your day sense has gone bad... the white balance etc.look for a default setting and turn it on.

Web link with the manual is http://www.rcapearl.com/pdf/TH11xx_IB.pdf

If your lazy he's the cut and paste from the manual;

1. To start voice recording, press M twice to access the Home menu.
2. Press or to highlight “Voice Recording". Then press to advance. (thats the key you would press to skip ahead a song)
3. Press or to highlight “Record”. Then press to access voice recording
mode.
4. Press when the display shows “Ready” to start voice recording.
5. Press to pause record. Press again to resume recording.

I had a hard time myself with this fuction so don't feel alone. I used the voice record to record a lecture and it was surprising sensitive but then again I had the professer put it in is front shirt pocket. It would over modulate a bit but was audioable and served its fuction for me
