Internet through bluetooth

I am having sony ericsson P800 but am unable to connect it through bluetooth... i have installed bluesoleil on my laptop and am even able to transfer data between laptop and cell but when i click dial up connection it gets failed up... i have even tried it again by restarting the cell and the laptop and by choosing another port for bluetooth.. kindly help me..

Try using a microtune bluetooth device instead of a bluesoleil one. i've encountered the same problem before.

You have a Sony Ericsson W700i which has a Java Operating System. Maybe - and I do mean maybe - you can tether your PC to the Internet with your phone IF your phone is supported by the Sony Ericsson PC Suite.

I say maybe, because I have never used a w700i with this PC Suite before.

You can download the PC Suite here and install it on your PC.:

If your phone is supported by the PC Suite, you can look under the TOOLS section of the PC Suite and click on Internet Connection. (If it works, let me know.)

Also, if you can tether, and you use Bluetooth - your Internet connection will be slower than if you use a USB cable.

You need to have a bluetooth stack installed, so that you have "bluetooth places" available, where you can link up the headset.
A good instruction (for XP) is shown here.

Bluesoleil is definitely a good option.

I just got the same headset and they don't ship with a driver CD.

Try using Bluesoleil for bluetooth connectivity on your laptop. You can get it from
http://www.bluesoleil.com/
Bluesoleil comes with its own drivers for a wide variety of bluetooth functions so you don't have to hunt for specific drivers.
Please note that your bluetooth hardware has to be compatible with bluesoleil. There is is utility on their website that lets you test the same.

I cannot connect my P800 to a pc

i used to have a similar problem, try a bluetooth dongle that supports the frequency, i had one which worked perfectly fine and then it got damaged and since then all other usb's i tried did not work, try dongles which are compatible with p800

P800 memory

Hi,

I am sorry but the 1 GB stick is not compatible. The P800 can only use regular DUO cards (the biggest size being 128 MB). The 1GB is a PRO DUO.

How to put mp3 ring tone p800

You can download them directly from providers through your phones menu/options for a fee. Or, you can synchronize your phone with your PC via USB/FireWire Cable, or Bluetooth (I'm not sure that the p800 has Bluetooth or not though), and transfer them from your PC (if you have them downloaded to your harddrive?).
