I have an ariston ll64 and it is stopping a the last cycle button which is the picture of wine glasses. It then flashes with a green light.any ideas?

Error messages:
Your dishwasher is equipped with a safety system which is able to detect any operating anomalies. These anomalies are reported by one or two wash cycle indicator lights "E" flashing rapidly.

LL64 Dishwasher 3rd and 4th lights flashing. What does this mean? DC

Please check if the pressure pump is clogged and the sparaying arms are rotating well. It is possible that the program seems to shut down due to an error. So start by clearing the inlet valve, check the flow to the pump and the spraying arms.
Please check this link for tips to investigate:

The 4th green light on my Ariston dishwasher flashes. What does this mean?

You did not mention what model number that you had but this is what I found after a little digging:

From http://servicetechhelp.com/discus/messages/2801/6823.html?1205974228 :
For future reference, the technician who replaced the control board for me gave me a complete list of flashing LED fault codes for the Ariston LL65 (which are same as Ariston LL64):

001000 Float Switch: Water in Base Pan
001100 No Drain: Dranin Motor Disabled, Filters Clogged, Dramin Hose Blocked
001010 Main Motor Presure Switch Blocked Filter
100100 Control Board: Software of Control Board not Recognized.
000100 Water Valve: Water Valve Diabled <--- This one sounds like your error
000110 Fill Fault: Water Valve Disabled, Turbine Disabled or Control Board
000101 Heating Element disabled or High Limit Open or Control Board
000010 NTC defective or not positioned or control board
000001 NTC defective or not positioned or control board

KEY: 0 = LED off
1 = LED flashing

I also found this for a different model:
http://www.diybanter.com/home-ownership/89945-resetting-controller-ariston-dishwasher.html
No Program Code Fault condition
1 Heavy wash 1000 Operation of flood
protection system
2 Normal wash 0100 Heating
element/Thermistor/Thermostat fault
3 Rapid wash 0010 Drain pump fault or drain
blockage
4 Soak wash 0001 Not filling to correct

Ariston L63 dishwasher stopped mid cycle with water in base.

1) Ensure the dishwasher is turned off. 2) (may not apply) Turn the plastic blue lever located under the sink to the vertical position (this opens the valve, so water can go into the dishwasher) 3) Pour powder indo the dishwasher 4) Turn the dishwasher controller to the top position (the 12 o?clock position) ? this is the eco-setting. 5) Press the on/power button on the dishwasher, so that it now turned on (a light will display) 6) Move the dishwasher controller to the ?R? position (it?s on the very left), and leave it there a second or two. 7) Move the dishwasher controller back to the eco-setting (the 12 o?clock position
