Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

Emergency only My phone says emergency only sometimes. but i just got it and i cannot recieve calls or make calls. how do i fix this?

Go to Tools, System, Location and click "Location On" (The other choice is 911 only)

Some times a phones sim or a memory device gets loosed so it does that just open ur phone take ur battrey out take the sim out clean it by blowing it and put it back in

No. Not unless you have the proper code or do a full reset. you should call your provider. They may need to unlock it.

How do I get my cell off emergency call
Hi Annetta, sometimes a simple fix is to turn the the phone off for around 30 seconds or so then turn it back it on.

Cannot make or recieve calls or texts , showing emergency on screen.
it must be that your phone have been call barred, try to fix it, you have to go to the settings and look for the call option, press ok, and deactivate the call barring in your phone, to know if its working try to make a call.

I unlocked a verizon blackberry 9630, once i put my tmobile sim card in it, it lets me send n recieve texts and recieve calls but it doesnt let me make call it say emergency calls only, how can i fix this?
Turn the phone off, count to 5, then turn it back on. It should find the nearest tower for a signal. A bad SIM card won't do this either like one person said. He/she was lied to at the store or by Customer Service. I used to work for AT&T Wireless & this Emergency Only issue was a big one. A bad SIM card won't allow you to place or receive calls or text messages. T-Mobile runs on the GSM network like Cingular/AT&T does. Coverage

whhheewwww....

 

thats queit a fall....

luckily it still works... usually you have a hardware problem... but you say sometimes you have a coverage and suddenly drops... you still have a chance to let your phone your to normal... just visit a service center have have your phone reheat or resolder its parts inside...

Motorola Razr v3 stuck in mute mode. Finally find mute switch during a call, turn it off , says mute off with green arrow and then it reverts back to mute! No idea how phone got stuck on mute! Impossible to get mute to go off. Made a call & got the mute setting to finally come up & I turned it off - it says mute off, green arrow shows. Then it reverts to mute again!
