Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
Use the "HD Selector" on the cable that plugs into your xbox360 and make sure it is pointing to "SD" and then turn on your xbox360. This should put the console in standard definition mode and allow you to see the picture on the screen. If this doe not work, check and make sure you are using the proper inputs on your tv and selecting those inputer accordingly.

This happened to me as well you will first have to change the HS/SD selector to SD then plug in the RCA cables (red white yellow) then go system section and press initial setup which will allow you to change the settings for your tv. I hope that helps.

You might be in luck, recently Microsoft announced that they are extending the warranty coverage on the Xbox360 because of a high failure rate, nearly 1 in 3 fail. You should contact microsoft and see about getting it fixed. If they won't fix it and your brave enough you could open up the Xbox and make sure that all of the contacts on the connector are still connected.
