Question about Mitsubishi WD-52525 52" Rear Projection HDTV
Thank you for your great guide to repairing the DM board. My aunts Mitsubishi WD-55513 ( HDTV 1080 ) was doing the flashing light ( green led / timer ) non stop, and after reviewing your post I was certain this would correct the problem. I did exactly what you said, even got the replacement Radial Caps from Digikey, as the ones on her DM were indeed bad. ( bulged tops, and uF'ed questionable ) Anyhow, put it all back nice and neat, and the same problem as before. Any tips or ideas as to where we might look next? I feel with your vast knowledge of these systems it must be an oversight on my part. I would greatly appreciate any help or where I might try next. Thank you in advance!
There is probably a voltage missing on the secondary of the switch mode power supply . check for pico fuses.(the kind that solder in). Usually one other will open up and the same results will will appear because the set has protected itself from any more damage by a fusible resistor or pico fuse. I am impressed by your throughness in sticking with the solution of this problem. Make sure the set in unplugged and test all secondary pico fuses and current limiting resistors. This 1sv where you will probably find your problem. Everything you have done so far is mint. Scrivitron.

I have the Mitsubshi 1080 big screen and replaced the 5 capicitors on the DM pcb for the continual blinking problem. However, this did not correct the problem I am still faced with. Any other suggestion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Wil..
