Never ending hassles with this phone

Before I can answer my ringing phone, it cuts out. It doesn't switch off or even show a miss call, it just cuts off before I can answer. The caller must then phone me back. At times, it also disconnects when I am speaking to someone on the phone. Just like that! I only got the phone in Dec 2006, on contract through Cell C. It has always done this and it is most frustrating. Can someone help?

Have you tryed getiing a replacement battery for your lg. thats the main problem because the surport the phones memory for the phone.

THE ANSWERING SERVICE CUTS IN BEFORE I AM ABLE TO GET TO THE PHONE
There should be a switch towards the bottom on the right hand side
Setting ring time switch The ring time/toll saver switch allows you to set the number of rings the caller hears before the answering system plays your outgoing message. You can set the switch to answer af ter two rings or af ter four rings. Once the greeting has star ted, you can stop it when you pick up the call at the handset or base. In the TS (Toll Saver) position, the answering system picks up af ter two rings if you have new messages, and af ter four rings if there is none. This way, if you call long distance to check your messages, you can hang up af ter the third ring to avoid billing charges.

Phillips CD445 cordless phone - cuts out when pick up to answer
if you have had it a while chances r the batterys have had it even though they show full, try a new set, or even try standard batterys briefly while fone is not in charging mode to see if they work during a call.

LG shine drops calls, it will show a missed call, but no ring
Have you checked to se if your phone is on silent or on a vibrate mode? It is possible you switched it without realizing it, which would cause the phone to not ring during a call.

Phone doesn't ring for an incoming call
pls reset ur device for some reason the call handling software has been corrupted dont worry just backup ur data and reset the device as follows

hard rest factory default settings = when ur set is switched off press both buttons call and end key and then press power button on upside of pda for like 5 sec screen will appear asking to format all data take out ur card if u dont want to format that now confirm by pressing the centre action button in 4 side joystick and go

if not solved then go to www.htc.com for latest Rom update download and update backup ur data first

Need more time to pick up phone(disabled)
The phone does not have this facillity.However,switching the answer machine "OFF" allows me to lengthen the ringtone to 16 rings as on the Users Guide.
