Question about D-Link (DI-784) Wireless Router
I hope that the solution of "Guest" work for you coz if not, the router is fully busted. Experience has taught me that this type of problem is typical of a lightning strike or at least a power surge in your DSL/WAN connection. In some cases, even the networking (LAN) card(s) of the PC(s) are also affected.

I have the exact same router and the exact same problem, the solution is to unplug all network cables, and plug only in the power cable, let it run for about 15 seconds, and then plug in your WAN + all other network cables. You're going to have to do this everytime for every restart of the router.

You can try to reset your Router by using a pen or a paper click there is a little whole in the back of your router that you can click with a pen. This should restart the modem. If this doesn't work you can hold the reset button but this will restore the router to factory default settings
