Sony cdx m8800 error message

Radio on the stereo works normally but when trying to use a cd it comes up with an error message...any thoughts?

    actual message reads 'disk error'

If it gives you a cd error message check the cd for scratches.try playing different cd`s

Remove the radio, disconnect the blue wire, and connect the blue/white wire in its place. This should fix your problem.
