Question about Nokia N70 Cellular Phone

Nokia N70 I purchased Nokia N70 handset in January 2007. From 2nd July 2007 I am unable to make calls, though I am receiving calls. Whenever I try to connect to a number, it shows connection error and disconnects. I switched off the phone and again switched it on, but still the problem remained. Thinking that the sim card may have some problem. So I transferred the sim card from Nokia N70 to Nokia 1600, where it is working fine. I am unable to understand, what the problem could. Please advise.

Check your settings, try to OFF th Fixed Dialling. Go to the SETTINGS then SECURITY to PHONE and SIM then FIXED DIALLING. If it does'nt work try reformat your fon but the worst thing your file saved on your fon memory will be deleted.

There is an option in settings menu that say restore factory settings.Do that and the code is 12345 exept if you change it

try a hard reset..dial *#7370# then input 12345 as a password..if it doesn't work turn off your n70, hold power button * 3 and receive call button at the same times, make sure your battery is full.
notes: it will erase all your data in phone memory

it's problem releated to your handset softwear,
try to backup your phone then formating it and try again,

Nokia N70 cellphone can not send sms
Hai,

There is no problem with you mobile phone, if you are unable to send the sms this means there is a problem with the service provider, I request you to contact your service provider (Airtel,idea,tata), they will provide you the settings and a sms center number to feed in your phone to send the sms.

This should work for you.

Go to Setting-Call-Send my caller ID. Keep it Set by network
& check your line in use. Keep it in Line 1

I think its not software its hardware problem.
Two buttons making the same and phone just closing down.
Go and see the mechanics.Don't hate a phone that's only machine!

Nokia N70 phone white screen and Hangout problem
hi there you've go a software problem there try this manual formating somtimes it works but if not must go now to any nearest service center to reprogram your phone. ok!
so here's the tricks to format....
power off the phone first then PRESS and HOLD
"CALL KEY" + "* KEY" + "3 KEY" then power on the phone just hold and wait till NOKIA LOGO appears then release. finish, phone will be ok. you will know that you successfully format the phone cuz' all your data form the phone will be back to normal.

Not connecting gprs
Only your service provider can give you the settings. Your Nokia N70, IS able to receive the settings via a msg. If they tried and it did'nt work, try again make sure you tell them precisely the make and model of phone. They might have sent you the wrong settings the first time.
If you get no joy, tell them that you will change service provider.
