I BOUGHT THE PHILIPS 42PF9966/37 MODEL ON SEPT. 05. THE TV WONT POWER BACK ON AGAIN. I AM SO UPSET BECAUSE THE TV IS OUT OF ITS WARRANTY AND ITS GOING TO COST ME AROUND 900.00 TO FIX IT. IS IT WORTH FIXING? THE POWER SUPPLY WENT OUT ON IT. CAN ANYONE HELP
I had the same problem with a philips 42FD9932 and fixed with a great online tutorial. Just replace 3 capacitors available at Radioshack onthe the board. 2662, 2663, 2664 1 is a 1000uf the others are 100uf. Max Volts need to be over 25. It worked great, check http://dynamicorange.com/2008/06/25/fixing-a-plasma-tv/

Please can you tell me the power board part number, is it FPF10P-DC180A? Trying to source a board for another TV which I believe uses the same P.Supply but need confirmation. Many thanks
