I want to unlock my t-mobile sidekick lx by sharp company, it is gifted to me from USA, what can i do

    when i turn the phone on it says privacy lock and say put a 4 digit code in and i dont know what that is?

Go to sim centre enable sim pin  change ur sim pin to a 4 digit number  (then the signal bars should show and u may be asked to wait for activation if that happens press menu + L ) then go to network options  select scan and selct manually  and choose ur carrier  internet will not work!!!!

You will probably find a number of companies via google a I have used a couple, which I'm not sure I'm allowed to post here so I recommend you visit Unlock-Zone.com, which is nearly perfect and they were recommended highly in the cell phone forums.
Click the unlock your phone and select the mobile phone, current service provider to get the available unlocking service which ranges from $5 to about $25, depending on the model of phone you have.
