My mobaile view the white screen

At first. my phone Battrey Discharge for 2 days and then it jus turn off and then next thing is a white screen appeared. i cant even off my phone... i hv to unplug the battery. i try charge mobaile but view white screen. when i tried to on my phone again, the white screen reappear. what happenned ? . Pls help give me Solution . pls

i am havin the same problem with the white screen its hard to read messages or see anything, when i turn the phone on a red light starts flashing at the on/off button and vibrates, ive had the phone just over a year... is there any solution or is it time to get a new phone?

hi, dis is jay. im having the w550i which is very good feature mobile but the only draw back is it has the only the inbuild memory of 256 MB that is very less according to usage. i have read in the magzines that ericsson has launched the jointable and removable memory card(like pendrive) facility for the inbuilted mobile.

if that type of products is available in your side. plz provide the details so as to use ur products by the customers very much with happy.

i am having the same problem of white screen,whenever i will connect my data cable to my phone and i will tranfer the data ,eg games,applications etc and after that when i will takeout my data cable my phone will show white screen

the last time i saw my mobiles screen still clear was before i go to bed, and i putted it under my pillow, the next mornin its screen was all blurry and white, its so hard to control my mobile.. and after a while it goes all white so i have to off it and on again so atleast the screen gets a bit darker and so i can see it..

Hey guys, Sony Ericsson is RENOWN for going to the white screen of death!

Horizon Wireless Online does exactly that sort of repair!

They 100% fixed my Sony Walkman phone w580, and i know they can do the same for the other ones too.

I have w550i. whenever i connect the charger, it says "charging error, stop charging!". Also whenever i disconnect my data cable after loading stuff from my computer it shows a white screen.

This may b a battery problem or even can be a virus problem , what u can do is try starting ur phone without the memory card...if it works format ur memory card after taking the backup…also try using a different battery if possible...

There is 2 things.first maybe software problem or second you have to change the 2 wire that conect the main board with lcd.

elaff + SHARKmark + arun - your phone sounds like you are having battery issues you can replace the battery with a new one and see if that fixes the problem if not take the phone and ahve it reflash or replaced the flexcable.

My LG phone screen will not react to touch

Hello,

When a phone screen is blank or has a white screen, etc, there are three things that could be the cause;

1. Bad/defective screen and the solution is screen replacement. (In your case, your screen might be failing).
2. Software/Virus problem and solution is to flash the phone
3. Flex problem and solution is to change the flex. In some cases the flex might have shifted or not in it's right position, in this case, just fix the flex back properly and all will be well.

Bad/defective screen:

If your phone is having a white screen, first thing to do is dismantle the phone carefully, check if the screen is properly fixed to the phone board, also check if screen flex is intact. Once you've confirmed that all these are okay and screen is not still coming up, then it means your screen is bad. You can go ahead and replace the screen.

Make sure you confirm the screen is bad before you do any replacement.

Software/Virus:

Sometimes software/virus problem on phones are mistaken to screen problem. When a screen is white or blank, sometimes it's a virus problem. To further confirm, turn on the phone, wait for about 2 minutes when you know the phone must have booted fully, then use another phone to call the phone with white or blank screen. If the phone rings, it means it's not a virus problem, but if it doesn't ring, it means it's a software/virus problem.

If you discover your phone has a virus problem, you will have to flash the phone for it to display again,

Flex problem

When your phone screen is blank, white, has horizontal/vertical lines, turn images up-side-down, etc, be calm, there is nothing wrong with your screen, the problem is from the flex that connects your screen to the phone's main board. This flex must have worn out, that's why your screen is acting like any of the mentioned problem.

This is usually common with flip and slide phones. The flex worn out as a result of constant opening and close of the flip or slide phone. Samsung and Motorola phones mostly have this kind of problems.

Replacing the flex is the only solution to this problem. If you cannot change the flex yourself, maybe you should take the phone to a local repairer within your vicinity, so that the flex can be replaced.

Conclusion

Disassemble your phone and check the screen part in order to verify from the above which is actually the cause of the problem.

Ifthe cell phone battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be wornout. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cyclesand will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up atall. ORThe battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected thebattery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. Ifthe battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to bereplaced.

Won't stay charged for more than 6 hours with new battrey

its the default & maximum service given by your new battery & any kind of multimedia phones. you can not increase the time of discharge. don't use it much to listen songs,watch videos, surf net,etc. also disable the screen saver. all these will save your battery charge.

A white screen means your flex cable has gone bad. Please see a repair center.

mcdevito75 here, The battery light indicates the charge the alternator is putting back into the battery, a regulator in the alternator allows only a certain amount of electricity to be built up. Sounds like the regulator in the alternator is shorted and draining the battrey, Have your repair shop test the alternator and replace.

i got the say problem 2 days back. I read some pots in forums. This is what worked for me. First fully charge the phone some. Get a friend's phone or something. Then get ready with the data cable and your computer with internet.

Goto Sony ericsson site.

search for w810i SEUS Sonys update system.

At the bottom result it says"Sony Ericsson - Support - Update Service Compatible with K510i W810i W200i .

Click on that and dowload the program. At the right corner it shows the phones which supports it.

install the program and run it.

do exactly what it says.

it worked for me. I got all my contacts and messages back.

Very common. you're not alone... ;] Hopefully your problems will get fixed with the latest firmware, there are all sorts of firmware bugs like this. You can take your K750i to an authorised Sony Ericsson Repair Centre and they will update it for free for you, providing its still under warranty.
