My keyboard is not functioning...

Hello experts, i would like to ask assitance from you guys about the steps or ways in testing the keyboard using the multitester or generally the ways of troubleshooting it. I am sure that my keyboard is the problem because when i try other keyboards my pc works well. Thank you....

Your best bet is to just buy a new keyboard. There's not sense trying to repair an old keyboard because you can purchase new one's so cheap.

I have no personal experience with your Flexx but did try to find technical detail... (nice machine, in-expensive, good reviews) only to find it DISCONTINUED.

Isn't that always the way!

I'm a firm believer in repair... (or replacing (especially if you like something)...

While looking for technical detail I also checked eBay and found your keyboard $27 + $10 shipping (used, BELOW) or a whole unit w/cracked screen $55 (free shipping).

I have had great success with eBay... It's no Amazon... but they do stand up for their buyers...

Don't be afraid to become an expert: as long as you wear an anti-static (ESD: $6) wrist-band & PUT EVERYTHING exactly back as you found it (good used of a camera as you proceed (step by step))...

You will be proud.

Hello. My cat stepped on a keyboard after that I have lost shift-spacebar functions. Please help me to restore it. I have to use another computer to type this massage.

If the keys are jambed and you cannot free them then you most likely need to replace the keyboard.

I have the keyboard but that's all....I need help

The Adesso WKB-4000US wireless keyboard is a great one! I use to have one. What problems are you having with the keyboard? If you are having issues connecting it to the transmitter I would first suggest you check any cordless phones you have around the house. As the WKB series operates at 2.4GHZ so do most cordless phones. This can cause a transmission error with your keyboard. Try these steps if you are having connectivity problems. Because this is the most common connection problem with wireless keyboards and mice.
1. Check all cordless phones for frequency range. 2. If you find a close 2.4 GHZ cordless phone unplug it. 3. Attempt to reconnect the keyboard to the transmitter.

The keys on my blackberry 8330 stopped working. I took the batter out and it powered up. The trackball moves the cursor, but I can't select anything.

If you have not tried this yet, follow the instructions below.


STEP 1.
There is a Device Self Test Diagnostic Application that will test your BB including your keys on your keyboard. You can check each key one at a time. Go to OPTIONS, (the WRENCH ICON).
STEP 2.
On this screen select STATUS.


STEP 3.

Type the word TEST. (you won't see it but it will give you a prompt when ready to proceed. (


STEP 4.

It will prompt you to select START from the MENU.
This will begin the diagnostic selection process.


STEP 5

Click on KEYBOARD & TRACKBALL.


STEP 6

Click on RUN.


STEP 7

Press each key one at a time they should show up on the screen as you do so. If they do not function the keyboard is probably defective.


You should take the phone to the corporate store of the service provider to have it replaced if it is under warranty or if insured. Call the insurance company if it is out of warranty. Either way your BB should be replaced.


PS Note down any error messages you receive (in this case diagnostic test failed) so you can accurately tell the technician/counter person when he asks for the problem. It can help the Tech speed things up while troubleshooting.

SHIFT KEY DOES NOT FUNCTION ON ROCKETFISH WIRELESS KEYBOARD ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED

If you have another keyboard try using that and confirm if that works properly.

Incase you don't perform the below mentioned steps :

Click on start
Click on run
type CMD

test the shift keys on the black window.
If it does not work here it is a problem with the keyboard.

Return key acts as cap lock key

Go into System Preferences and select Keyboard & Mouse
Under Keyboard click on Change Keyboard Type... button
• Follow the basic steps to reset your Keyboard via the screen prompts.
Once you have done that select the Keyboard Shortcuts tab.
• Click the Restore Defaults button.

Now test your keyboard's return key. If this still does not resolve the Return key not functioning in the normal return key functionality,
Click Show All and go to the Universal Access pane in System Preferences and under Keyboard tab, make sure the Sticky Keys radio button is turned off.

Try these steps and let me know if there is any change.

Are the mouse and Keyboard USB varieties? If so, then try plugging in a PS/2 mouse and keyboard and boot the machine up. You can then check your system hardware settings in control panel and reinstall the USB drivers. This would be my first step in solving the problem. If you need any more help then just ask

She/he may have shut off the monitor from the keyboard. look for a little picture of the monitor.

Sometimes you need to hit fn (function) key and the display key to toggle it on

How to connec to internet with aspire above mentioned laptop

Here you go
1.Ask him to create a internet connection using the create new connection wizard in the control panel.Make this the default connection.
2.Now go to the network connections folder and open the new connection you will find there.
3. Connect using this connection to the site of your internet service provider .
4.After registration at the site you will be provided with the deetails necessary to log on the net.

You better ask your father to use the Help and Support Center.
