Blocked print head nozzles
Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent blocked print head nozzles. You may have blocked print head nozzles.
Try the printer maintenance to clear the printer nozzles.
After several deep cleaning attempts and there is no improvements in the print then a new print head is required.
A new print head maybe expensive and it maybe more cost effective to purchase a new printer.

I regret to inform you that the Lexmark X75 does not support Windows 7. It works on Windows XP and previous versions.
You may contact Lexmark Technical Support Center to check for other options.

If it copies ok, then the issue is either the way it is cabled to computer or the print driver software settings on pc.... How is it connected via USB? Check port and correct driver is in windows/control panel/printers. Reinstall.

Cartridges 564, 364, 178, 862, or 920

Solution one: Reset the product

1. Without turning off the product, disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the product.NOTE:The USB cable connects to the port on the rear of the product. The port is labeled with the USB icon ( ).Figure 2: Example USB connection (your product might not look exactly the same as this example)
2. Remove the cartridges from the product.
3. Wait for the 'Insert Cartridges ' message to display on the control panel.
4. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product.
5. Wait 60 seconds.
6. Reconnect the power cord. If the product does not automatically turn on, press the Power button ( ).
7. Reinsert the cartridges, and then close any open doors on the product.
8. If you receive a prompt to print a calibration page, do so.
9. Reconnect the USB cable to the rear of the product.
10. Try printing again.

Well it is nothing but to change the region of the printer. hence remove all the cartridges and remove the power supply first.

1. Hold # & 9 key on the keypad
2. Connect the power back to the printer
3. It will say NVRAM init.
4. It will ask for the Region select what you want.
5. And continue to work

OR

Goto setup menu in printer and change the region.

the body of text of the test page is black ink. From what you describe, the print heads are clogged. Most HPs use cartridges that have the head built in, but if not used for an externded period they can dry up and clog.
Try repeated head cleanings (10 or more) see if any change. If none, try new HP ink cartridges

The duplexing has to be set in the printer's
Printing submenu

DUPLEX OFF/ON

This item appears only when an optional duplexer is installed. Set

the value to ON to print on both sides (duplex) or OFF to print on

one side (simplex) of a sheet of paper.
The default setting is OFF.


Print on both sides (Duplex) Click Print on both sides. If you will bind the document along
the top edge, click Flip pages up.

I don't have a solution, but just the same problem. It won't print correctly unless refilled with a lot of ink (HP Deskjet 1050).

The pc company walked me through the fixing of my printer. Please cancel any charges with your company as I did not receive any help from fixya. thank you

Unplug the machine for 3 minutes and plug it back in. sometimes this will reset everything. good luck
