My iPhone 4 is locked on VoiceOver. I can't get past my password to turn it off. Can someone help?

The only possibility is contacting the previous owner. Without his id and password there is nothing you can do with the iphone. It's the "find my iphone" option under icloud in the preferences app. There are A LOT of apple products (iphones, ipads etc) which are locked to an icloud account and people try to sell them. DO NOT BUY such phones/ipads!! They're perfectly useless!

If you mean VoiceOver, you can go to the Settings app, under the General tab. There should be a subdivision of the General tab named Accessibility, where the first entry will be VoiceOver. You can tap on that to turn off VoiceOver.

Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> VoiceOver -> Off

Just activating the voice over feature shouldn't change your iphone's password. You may not know how to use the iphone now that it is in voice over mode. What you need to do is go to the unlock screen use the same password that you used to have. The trick is to click on eacg number, then double tap it again once, repeat that step each time for the four numbers and you should have access to the phone. Once that is done you need to turn off voiceOver in the settings app in general, then accessibility, then change voiceover to off, your iphone should then go back to normal.

If for some reason your iphone did actually break by turning on the voiceover feature randomly, you should try to restore your phone by plugging it in to itunes(if you don't know how use google). If you need any further help you should be able to go to the genius bar at any apple store, and they would be happy to help you fix your iphone for free.

Restore the iphone using the restore function of iTunes on the iPhone page when it is plugged in. This should resolve this query.

If you have your phone synced with itunes you can hook your phone to your computer by opening itunes on your computer and connecting your phone. Then click on your IPhone when it appears in the column on the left. Choose the option to restore to last backup or reset to factory defaults.

Well turn Zoom on or off: In Settings, choose General > Accessibility > Zoom and tap the Zoom On/Off switch.
NOTE: You cannot use VoiceOver and Zoom at the same time. You can please check the below link for more help -

Cheapest way is to do it yourself and camera module is easily accessible. If Apple doesn't replace it for you, you can find the camera module at iPhone 3GS Repair and there is a guide that shows you how to put in the part at iPhone Repair Guide.

As you are using 3GS, your warranty would still be valid. So, go to your nearest Apple Store with everything from your box(all your manuals and papers) and go the the Genius Bar. They will replace your iPhone free of charge. I had the same problem with my 3GS.
