In order to control your Hitatchi TV with your dish remote you would need to program it. The codes needed depend upon the model of your receiver, though I can provide some general codes. Below I have provided some codes and a link for more information and the steps to program the remote!

Addressing Remote to TV:

1.) Press and hold the clear TV button until all mode lights light up.
2.) Release and TV light will be blinking.
3.) Enter code and press #. The TV button should flash 3 times.
4.) Try functions (Volume, Power, etc..) and see if working.
5.) If no function, repeat steps 1-4 with another code.

I do hope that you have gotten this resolved, but if not, or you still have questions, here are some codes and steps that will help you.

1. Hold down the clear TV button until all lights light up at the top of the remote
2. Punch in a 3 digit code (provided below)
3. Press the # (POUND) button
4. Try powering the tv on/off, and the volume. If one or more of these functions do not work, start over from step 1 with a different code

I have the codes you need to set direct handunit for your TV.11145-10145-11960-11904-11445-11345-11045-10797-10583-10577-10413-10409-10279-10227-10173-10151-10097-10095-10056 10038-10032-10016-10105 Switch slide mode to TV make sure tv is on now press and hol MUTE&Select together untill it flashes green now enter code then press power if set turns off that will be your code if not repeat steps untill TV powers OFF.

i would try to reprogrsam the remote first. do yuo have the owners manual to do this?

i have dish network different brand tv but have codes for hitachi they are 1004,1006,1012,1013,1059,1060,1063,1135,1136,1145,1148,1179,1185. hope one of these helps
