Looking for a good used RCA Model # 20F510TD TV/DVD combo unit. My case etc. is wonderful. Looks like the Picture tube went out so I am looking for a used Picture tube actually but will settle for an ugly case etc. with a good tube I can switch out for on mine.
Thank you in advance.

First it started coming on, then all of a sudden it would go dark, then a couple minutes later it would come back on etc. This went on for a week or so then it stopped coming on altogether. Now, you can put a DVD into the dvd player and it will work, or at least you can hear the sound etc..... just no picture. I have done this with the back off and see no bad fuses, no burned circuit board spots, loose connections. It is getting power to the circuit board at the tip of the tube but no activity past that........ any suggestions as to what else to look for or test if you aren't sure it is the tube. I talked to RCA warranty shops (2) and they are saying the tube ( LG ) is actually the maker.... is and has been a lemon for them thus far.... RCA isn't even offering it as a replacement part anymore ( discontinued ). Any help would be appreciated.

I have the exact same problem and RCA service department is full of rude people.. you think that when you buy a named brand product that they would stick behind their name...but no they refuse to give you their corporate phone # or any information....they will not repair the tv even though I bought it less than a year ago....I would never buy RCA products again Shelley I have the exact same problem and RCA service department is full of rude people.. you think that when you buy a named brand product that they would stick behind their name...but no they refuse to give you their corporate phone # or any information....they will not repair the tv even though I bought it less than a year ago....I would never buy RCA products again Shelley

What makes you think the picture tube is bad? What exactly are the symptoms you see? The RCA 20 inch picture tube is a good quality long lasting tube and I doubt I have ever seen a bad one.

Got one even better for you: Here is a link to the owner's manual for the entire TV/VCR. The information about the remote, which claims to start on page 5 actually starts on page 7 of the online manual. Here's the link - and it's free:
NOT much you can do---It is a bad optical unit inside the DVD unit---they do not see parts----only the complete DVD portion----much cheaper to go out and buy a DVD player and connect it to the audio and video jacks this unit should have.
If you have an RCA TV/DVD combo model #20F510TD....... I may be able to help....somewhat.
I was able to program a (Walmart) RCA 3 device universal remote control ( $9.96) but only for the TV. I could not get the remote to program for the DVD.
The code for the TV function is #1122. Good Luck!!!!!
This happened to me. Unplugg the TV and let it sit idle for ATLEAST 20min. Remove the rear cover of the TV. BECAREFUL NOT TO TOUCH THE TUBE OR COMPASITOR THERE MAY TIL BE POWER TO IT! You should see a (3) prong wire that is black+white+and grey. That wire is most likely disconnected. You will see where it plugs into the board.
