My harddrive was getting full so I deleted a bunch of old programs and then ran CC Cleaner. The sound has not worked since. I've reinstalled the soundcrad driver (RealTex AC97) but no luck. All volumes are set at max, and icon appears normally on system tray, and I've tried doing a 'system restore' to an early date when it did work, but still no luck. Try reinstalling the touchpad driver.
Download the device drivers from the Acer WEB site. Make
sure you select the model of your laptop the drivers you that require that
matches the Windows version that is installed on your laptop. Use this link to

Did you install the webcam driver from Acer's site?
Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "AcerSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the Web cam drivers.
if you have a usb keyboard and mouse this isn't too difficult to troubleshoot, plug them in, boot the computer and you can manipulate the pc like normal. then go to control panel>system>device manager, and check and see if there is a conflict with the drivers, and you can visit the acer website and download the proper ones.
Have you tried to go online to the windows update? Go there and choose custom install after the scan, then click on the optional upgrades and look for a graphics upgrade and choose install, windows will download and install the new driver....actually, while you are in there let windows get all the hardware updates that are available.
My idea is bad & corrupted Hard Disk Partition. Normal partition is FAT32 or NTFS, once this is corrupted you cannot go to windows or even on safe mode, unless you are going to reformat again your windows system to a new one.
Here is what you do, reformat your Windows System in a new one by using its Recovery Disc or Bootable Disc.
