Need instructions for connecting ear piece to iphone 4

Hi,to complete the look of a tech-savvy, iPhone-using individual, you must have a Bluetooth headset to accompany it. You can pair any Bluetooth headset with an iPhone. The Motorola HS850 is no exception to this. Both Motorola and Apple's Bluetooth set-up process is fast, so you'll be talking with people through your new Bluetooth on your iPhone in a matter of minutes.

Instructions

Charge the Motorola HS850 headset fully before attempting to pair. Usually, it takes two to three hours to charge the headset.

Press and hold the "Call" button (has a phone icon on it) on the headset for six to 10 seconds. The outside LED light will turn on indicating that the phone is in pairing mode.

Choose "Settings" on the iPhone homescreen.

Select "General," then "Bluetooth."

Select to turn Bluetooth on.

Wait for the phone to search for in-range devices.

Select theMotorola HS850 from the list of devices.

Enter the headset passkey to complete the pairing. By default this is "0000."

Have a nice day..

How to connect the bluetooth??

I used this Motorola Bluetooth manual to connect my Motorola N136/HS 850 to my LG PM 325 phone. In the attached manual: Go to "using your headset" - "linking your headset and phone" and follow the instructions. You may need to revise the steps slightly to fit the functions of your phone. I followed steps 1 and 2, skipped step 3 and instead found the bluetooth icon on my phone, selected "add new", then selected "searching and pairing" and allowed the phone to search for and pair my bluetooth device. The Motorola Bluetooth device appeared on the screen of my phone within seconds as "Motorola HS850". I selected the device on the screen of my phone and followed step 5 entering the pin code "0000" and selected "connect" on my phone to begin using my bluetooth. I hope this helps someone. Pairing Motorola RAZR with the HS850

No, living outside of your cellular "home area" has nothing to do with the bluetooth pairing. You're problem is a common problem. Lots people have this problem you are not alone. So, here is what I suggest. 1. Make sure both the headset and the phone are fully charged. 2. Delete the "device" from your phone. I mean precisely that. Go into you cell phone's bluetooth settings and erase your "HS850" from it. 3. Try re-pairing it. Put the phone and the headset in pairing mode and allow it to sync. This should do it. I always works for me. You usually only need to pair once and every time you use the headset all you should have to do is connect it. I hope this works for you. Good Luck.

Samsung A900 and Motorola HS850

Have U tried re-link them? Turn off both device. Then switch the cell phone on first and check if the bluetooth is on. Then link it with the bluetooth. If you lost the manual, search online on the steps to do the linking. Cell phone should be able to detect the bluetooth and finally link with it.
