I spilled a tad bit of water on the counter and my phone got a little wet, I thought it was just water on the front and not even close to any of the keys, but everything works on my phone except 4 keys...the send/end key and the top 2 keys up from those (navigateing buttons)
I have tried everything to dry it out (im still not sure if it was even wet) and they still don't work. I can dial but i can not send.
any suggestions? Or is it done?

If you spilled water or any drinks or liquid on your cell phone, or if it was in the bathroom while you were taking a shower, it is possible that the audio is damaged. I spilled a little bit of water on my cell phone and had the same problem.
Thanks for writing Fixya. I am Marion and let me help you with this.
There are reasons why your phones keypad is not working, first, have you tried re aligning your keypad if it fits exactly on the button, also, you may try pressing the keys without the keypad tofind out if the problem is just on the keypad or on the phones hardware already. Also, the keypads functionality may affect if it had a water spill or had dropped previuosly.
If You haven't already, open the phone remove the battery and SIM. I believe you can also remove the front face plate and key pad. Make sure the contacts behind the key pad are dry as well as the underside of the pad itself. Leave the cover and face plate off to allow to dry for as long as possible.
If the phone was too wet it may not recover. If it does not you will have to replace it.
The cheapest option is a go phone. You can get the Nokia 6010 refurbished online at Cingular for $29.95 and use your current SIM and will be good to go. When you order You will need to select a go phone plan but you do not need to activate it.
