It seems like a problem in the high voltage power supply.I do not have a service manual but everything appears to fire up until there is a short burst of video as if there is a crow bar shut down..maybe a shorted capacitor any how it gives the appearance that all is well until the current demand shuts it down.

the switch again. If this does not clear the message, write down
the code (Main code and sub code exists.) that appears and then
unplug the power cord and contact your authorised service

What does a 2-3 dignostic code on a Mitsubishi 55819 mean?

2blink-then 3 blink---------deflection circuit problem

It is a little misleading but means something in Horizontal or high voltage circuit (covers a lot of area inside the set) is bad.

Going to need a service manual, etc to try to track it down.

Entire chassis for this set can be removed====called a light box.

I have a Workcentre 5050 that doesn't recognize the network controller. Does anyone have any advice or an installation Manual?

1. Turn machine off 2. After it has completely powered down, unplug the power cord from the wall. 3. Go back to the front of the machine and turn it on and then back off again (remembering to leave it UNPLUGGED from power.) 4. WAIT 60 SECONDS (Very important) 5. AFTER 60 seconds plug it back into the wall and turn it back on.
If problem persists call for service.
Hope it helps!

Cd player doesn't work

This is doc-fix. The C D motor is supposed to spin spin, at all times when selection. then the C D record makes selection.
in that sequence.
See if motor spins by finger twirl? Is it turn 3,or 4 turns?
if it is binding on the black plastic, then that has to be corrected. if the motor is getting no power (electric power)
then there will be no spinning. need a diagram , showing how
motor power goes into the C D HEAD TO MEASURE VOLTAGE???

VCR automatically goes into standby mode

If this unit shuts down after you turn it on, it is going into stanby because the microprocessor is not seeing the proper pulses from the mode switch. this could be due to an out of time mechanism because of a broken gear, bad mode switch, the loading basket is out of time or broken, or the capstain motor or the cylinlinder motor is not sending the PG and FG pulses to the microprocessor. These can also be due to a power supply voltage missing. You can check the voltages with a service manual and make sure they are not low. You will also need to get the mechanism manual and check the timing of the mechanism. Then check the mode switch you can get a manual from here http://www.servicemanuals.net/results.aspx?brand=15&model=HRS&type=SM&pos=281 Good Luck
