I do not fully understand you message but it sounds like you want to get into administrator programming of your voice mail.
I don't deal with voice mail programming. My only suggestion is to try and determine exactly which voice mail model you have and find the "administrator" or "programming" manual for the voice mail.
I have the Merlin Legend system. To change to auto attendant is an "administrator" funtion. From the main console, go into the administrator mailbox-enter passwords-go to the #3, which is automated attendant-press 1 for Day menu-press 6 to modify the menu. The menu "prompt" is what you want to change-the recording. If you no longer have an administrator or someone that knows the administrator's mailbox number and passwords, you will probably have to call Avaya and pay them the $650/hr they now want for remote programming, OR calla alocal person with Merlin Legend programming expertise.
