My car has am/fm, cd and cassette player. My problem is that over a year ago I had installed satellite radio and it worked fine. Suddenly when I insert the cassette from the satellite radio unit into my car's cassette player my satellite radio works for about 5 seconds and then the cassette player ejects the cassette. This is happening on all cassette's that I have tried in my car. Is there any remedy that will prevent my car's cassette systme to stop ejecting the cassette's?
Thanks,
Bill

Re: car cassette player
Yes the rubber rollers inside your unit have become hard,,and they are slipping, and the unit detects this,, u can purchase a product called re-grip [ for rubber products and it treats the rubber in such a way to make it soft and pliable again ] the product is sold by mcm electronics and can be found online,,, treat the surfaces of the rubber rollers in your unit and it should preform to original specs....any further help please email me at [email protected] hope this helps you

The radio receives power from the RADIO fuse in the junction block-right I/P. Ground is provided via G201 and G202. The radio is enabled/disabled by class 2 messages from the body control module (BCM). The radio routes audio signals from the digital radio receiver or the vehicle communication interface module (VCIM) to the speakers and/or amplifier when directed by class 2 messages.

DTC B1025, B1035, B1045, or B1055
When the radio is powered up, the radio supplies low level audio signals to the speakers. If the vehicle is equipped with an audio amplifier, the amplifier will boost the signal sent to the speakers.
DTC B1025 Audio Output Circuit
Install a scan tool.
Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
With the scan tool, monitor the DTC Information for DTC B1025.
Does the scan tool indicate that DTC B1025 is current?
Hi.
If you hear a faint whirring sound from the cassette player while performing these functions, the motor is fine, but you require a new drive belt/s that need to be fitted at an electronics shop. If you hear not sound at all, the motor has died (possibly belts too), again it will require and electrinics repair shop visit.
For the sake of repairing it, it maybe cheaper to buy a new one.
If the Roady2 has a fm modulator built in, you can go to the menu and set the fm frequency. If it doesn't, you could use a fm transmitter that they have for mp3 players to listen to in the car
hi there, you just have to make sure that you're cassette deck is clean..then try it...if it won't work, you have to buy a new cassette adapter..i can assure u it'll definitely work..
