Television freezes I have a 27 inch philips television and it freezes and the remote will not work and the only way to reset it is to unplug it.

Television freezes? This trouble maybe power supply or inverter boards is defective.

Unplug it for 4 hours or more. This will reset the TV. Other than that,I don't have enough information to guide you.

It sounds like you need to reset your local zip code to 99999 then unplug the TV for at least 12 hours. Then plug it back in, reset to your real local zip code and go through the guide setup menus.
