2 of my 4 vtech handsets keep giving me a 'check battery warning'
When i check the battery and place it back on the holder it charges for a while and then goes back to 'check batter warning'. If i put it on a different phone set it charges just fine. Is the problem in the phone set?

first check to ensure the batter has held the charge you put into it. Just plugging the charger in does not mean the battery is holding the charge. If the battery is bad, it will drain as fast as you put it in. if the batter holds a charge, should be able to disconnect the charger and battery will show charge. if so, you have a bad connection or motor.
I don't know which laptop model you are talking about but still you can check back side of your laptop where you find the batter and a singn of lock and unlock. If it is saying battery low does not mean you need to change the battery, you can connect the laptop charger and charge it again, if only your charger and battery are working.
I replace my Bruan 7680 battery. I place the order for battery from Amazon, cutter& foil from goodmans.net. The following is my procedure
1.Using a small flat screw driver to plier the plastic socket lock (Where the charging located )
2.Disassemble left and right plastic holder
3.Disassemble plastic cover top and bottom
4.Take out the circuit board where the battery mounted on. Please be careful at this process you could ruin the circuit board while taking the old battery out(I used a soldering and a small wood stick just to take the extra flux away from contact to other on the circuit board). It is not as difficult as I thought.
5.During your install a new battery please make sure that the batter pole does not go the same way(Check direction of a battery before
taking it out so you do not put in the wrong direction)
6.Putting them back together.
#special tool required to take out the circuit board from a mounting? My the battery replacement came with the tool)
the batter cells are weak and wont hold a full charge, replace with a new battery, also check that there is nothing in the way of the contacts such as foreign debris inside the battery cavity of the impact.
It sounds like your battery is not charging. You may have a good battery and a good alternator but what you need to look for is the alternator fuse . It is usually a square block style fuse , 50 to 80 amps, normally in a fuse box under the dash. If it blows the car will drive till it runs out of battery juice and go bonkers just like you describe right before it dies. The charge light on the dash usually will not warn you of the problem. I think the manufacturers just want to charge you big dollars just to replace a fuse most people are not familiar with.
the battery sometimes doesn't get charged very well. When the batter is low, it goes on auto pilot. When this happens to me, I'm usually turning the boat, which makes it go in circles until the batter dies. I learned that keeping the battery cool when charging will help it charge better to prevent this until fifteen or so minutes.
You can take you battery to a place called batteries plus they can check out to see if it is you battery if the battery is good than you have a bad charger. you can get one cheap off of ebay. They are 45.00 plus at batteries plus lots cheaper off ebay and some time you can get a charger and battery combo for half the cost of the charger from them. hope this helps.
