Verticle IC part # for DS25390-02 chassis?
If you have a picture but the top is folded over, your vertical IC is probably good and you need to replace the pump-up capacitor next to the IC. When the pump-up cap (typically a 47 or 100uF 35V cap) is open then the picture will have white lines and foldover at the top. The typical vertical output IC is the LA7838, but I am not familiar with exactly which output IC your set uses.

Hi finally got the Sanyo DS25390-02 TV fixed. I replaced C502(220uf/35V) , C516(4.7uf/50V) & C503(3.3uf/50V). The ESR on all 3 of these caps was way out of specs. The verticle IC501 is a LA7841 (NTE 7153). There are also C501(10uf/50V)& C504(2200uf/25V) in this circuit which measured good so I left them alone. After several days the set is playing great. Hope this helps someone else, Happy Trails....Jack
