I took a few pictures today with my digital camera and everything appeared fine until I turned the camera off. I turned it off and just a second later it turned back on...I deleted all the pictures and turned the camera off and removed the battery. Later I replaced the battery and the camera turned on yet again,I turned the power off, but it just keeps coming back on. How can I fix this??

The better quality you have your pictures at the more memory it will use. Check the settings on the camera and lower the quality to normal, before you take a picture it will tell you how many pictures you can take on the top right hand side of the screen, keep adjusting the quality until you are satisfied with the amount of pictures that you can take. In general the internal memories on cameras are not that great, I would suggest you buy a memory card.
i just got a new camera the dimagne x50 and i brang it out today and it was working fine it didnt drop or anything i took a picture then turned it off then i turned it on agian and when it was on the camera format the light kept on blinking yellow for the longest time and wouldnt let me take a picture so i tried the video format and it worked so im just wondering why the video format is working and not the camera ? has this happened to you? is there any way of fixing it?
update, possible solution.. I pulled the batteries for 24 hours, attempting to force a reset of the camera. Today it worked, took pictures and zoomed just fine. I shut it off after about 10 pics and turned it back on and back to the start... Took the batteries out for a few minutes and put it back in and back in business. Hope this helps at least get SOME functionality out of it. This won't serve as a long term solution for me, but perhaps will lead towards a full answer.
Hey, i have had the same problem for over a year. My camera also wasn't briefly showing me the pictures i took right after taking the picture like it used to. Last night i found the "Quick View" function was turned off in the menu (up arrow) of the camera, so i turned it back on. Today i tried the zoom function (i haven't tried it in a year) and IT WORKED!! So i think they are linked somehow.
So try going to your menu (up arrow) then scroll down until it goes to the next page of the menu. Select "Quick View" and turn it on. Then your zoom might work. It worked for me, but i don't know if mine is an isolated incedent.
Clean everithing around the battery conections, try another battery too, check the polarity (basiks). Try to use with the computer in webcam mode. But dont try too hard if the common sence not workig, use the warranty!!!
i just got mine today, and the batteries were dead withtin a couple of hours, so yes.
