More info please, how old is the set? How much do you know about tvs? Do you have menus on screen? Do you have Raster?

Check to see that the sound part on your tv board is working. It is most likely the sound output ic is damaged. You could also check if speakers are in good working condition.

Hello...Have RCA L40FHD41YX9 ,serial number J203C40GV. Watching t.v., picture and sound go. Unplug, then replug...blue light in front, but still no picture or sound. Please advise

Fred, Unplug for a couple hours then try, if does not reset, board,capacitors or power supply gone bad.

My veon 32" has no picture but sound only

Hi my name is Roety,
I can help you with your issue ,
Voltage checks would be needed to locate the bad board, Try rebooting everything by unplugging from AC for 30 seconds. If there is no TV menu , no backlight.
It probably a bad panel and not worth repairing.
If there is a TV menu try using the component or HDMI inputs, if its works you need a mainboard, but can use the TV on those inputs instead of fixing it.

Toshiba 46in DLP No Picture, but good sound.

Help! Toshiba 51H84..Power light flashing, tv picture won't come on!

First thing that needs to be checked is the convergence IC's. Those IC's are located in the signal board and are really hard to remove. You need an experience technician to fix it for you :)

Viewsonic LCD TV - Picture/Sound goes out after 1st power up

Hi visceran,
I am happy to help, unfortunatly your main/input board is malfunctioning, it is a problem with the processor. I had a 32' Viewsonic on my bench last week with the same symptoms.
If the tv is new you should contact Customer Service asap, also check on the return policy of the store you bought it from. Many times it is alot easier to return to the merchant than to ship to repair facility.
