BLANK The whole top half of my flip phone doesnt work! IT doesnt receicve sound, light up or anything! The bottom half works though because it lights up when I open the phone and I can still talk to someone even though I cant hear them back! What wrong!?

There is a ribbon connector between the bottom half and the top half of your phone, this carries all the information for the top half ie picture & sound etc. It is more than likely that this cable is damaged someway. you would need to disassemble the phone and check the plastic ribbon carefully to be sure.

This code does not match any codes for that year, this is not a code, something is wrong if the scan tool is giving you a 5307, the code should be something like a poxxxx or pxxxx or it can be a U code, uxxxx or a bxxxx code, the almost sounds like a bad speed sensor as the ****** doesnt shift and the abs and brake light is on, i would start by having the speed sensor checked out. good day.

I have a HTC 6800 that started acting funny about a week ago. At first the screen got lines across it when I would open the keyboard, then after a couple of days the srceen just froze when the keyboard was...
I had this same problem, there is a thin line of wires connecting the bottom half and top half of the sliders, after awhile it just plain wears out and will generally crack, without these wire anything on the front of your phone will no longer work. The screen is black but stil lights up a little bit and occasionally the buttons light up but its pretty much toast I'm sorry to say. I upgraded to a HTC Touch Pro 2 and am happier than ever!

My portege M400 wont start up. The led light is blinking orange in a steady even pattern. I have tried removing the battery but that doesnt change anything. The screen is blank, and the fan is loud.
I have the M400 and it also does this. I don't know much about computers, but I found out when you apply a little pressure to the left of the touchpad and beneath the keyboard as you're flipping on the power slider, it boots up much more often. I know... sounds crazy and stupid, but it works for mine and it's been doing it for almost a whole year now. It doesn't work everytime, but whenever the light flashes and the fan cranks up to a million RPM i just pull the battery out

Samsung LCD television screen fault
My new TV LCD Samsung LC32C530 Series 5 has one half darker and with less contrast than the other.This is noticeable now always. There is a distinct and clear division down exactly half the display which separates the dark and light sides.. Any ideas?Thank you.

your phone has a problem with the flex cable go to a cellphone service and they will replace the flex cable and it should work just fine no need to buy a new one if u dont want to

found the solution to the white screen! it's the flip sensor.. what you have to do is open the phone hard and fast... make it so when you flip it open, the sensor knows when to turn the screen on and off.. this may take up to 5 or more times.. jus keep opening it hard and it will eventually work!!!

LCD lights up, but is blank when i open the flip
yeah that is possible. make sure you know what you are doing and don't damage the working LCD screen it might just be easier to replace the whole cuircuit board that the LCD screen is on.
