Voice sound has gone on phone (but ringtones and all other sound working).

My phone doesn't make any sound when someone is talking to me on it (and also when I listen to voice-mail):- - If I change to Hands-free I can hear the caller / voice message. - Ringtones can be heard fine on Hand-held and Hands-free. - I can ring-out and receive calls (but cannot hear other person). - I can send and receive Texts. My sounds for my zte savvy for my notifications have gone away. The ringtones still work. It is just for the text messages. What can I do to get them back?

There is problem inside ur phone. the speaker which gives sound to listen in caller's voice that has spoiled. take it to technician it need to be replaced

Change default ringtone for incoming calls

Hello, my phone has been very wierd. when someone calls me, it will have a voice be saying, call from so and so. and i want it to be just a ringtone. please help!

Which phone are you using ? Check your applications if your have installed any software like Voice/Talking Caller Id or something similar . This software will be the reason the Caller id is a voice and not a ring-tone. Even check the settings in ring-tone if you and option to switch off Voice Caller id. Either uninstall the software or disable the software from the options within.

if you want the voices of your relatives and friends recorded and personalized a your ringtone for them,follow the steps:
1.you go to the menu and you click on multimedia,you find the voice recorder there
2.you tell your family and friends or whoever person you want to keep talking and you record their voices,it saves automatically in the sounds located in "my stuffs"
3.you now go to your contacts,click on contacts you will find your groups i.e family and friends,you click on options,you will find the group ringtone,you click ok,immediately the sounds stored on your phone opens including the recorded voices and you click ok on the desired voice for the group or persons

I have had my phone case changed at a phone shop my mobile is a 6300 nokia and the speakers wont work when i talk 2 someone but i hear them and wont play sounds on ringtones but still makes sound on keypad...

there may be some problem in new case
you can clear the hole for sound with the help of safety pin

My blitz's speaker phone wont work. and the open/close, on/off, and ringtones, wont work... help! ive gone thru all sound settings and everything is "on" i can hear my calls thru the regular handset...

Try these couple of things:
The speakerphone feature lets you hear audio through the speaker and
talk without holding the phone.

To activate the speakerphone while in answering or calling modes,
press the Navigation Key to the right.
The phone returns to normal (Speakerphone Off) after ending a call
or when the phone is turned off and back on.

To adjust the ringer, key tone, voice call and speaker phone volume levels:
1. Press left soft key [MENU] (7) (1) (2).
2. Select the type of volume you wish to adjust.
3. Select the desired volume level.
4. To confirm, press OK.

I have sound ringtones but can't apply as ringtones on my razr

The ring-tones that are saved to your memory card, if mp3 file, will only play within your music player. You cannot assign any ringtones on your memory card. You must either download a ringtone of your choice from Sprint.com (which costs per ringtone), use your "voice memo" to record your desired music and assign it as your ringtone, or download any ringtone of your choice from certain webhosts that other the service for free such as: myxer.com, mobiles24.com, phonezoo.com, zedge.com.

Text tone on my Matrix

First you have to go to menu>my stuff>tools and utilities>voice memo>and you record a voice. When you are done recording, save it then go to menu>settings>profiles. Now you press the options key on profiles and go to customize and you click. Scroll down to message sound and click on it. Choose audio>my voice>and choose the recording that you want to be for your message. Press options>select. You should then be taken back to your messaging and ringtone settings. press the options>save.

perhaps you may try if you haven't already to go into settings>sounds>and from there you will be able to see what you have your ringer volumes and other stuff set up. be sure to check ringtone type, volume, and alert. This should be able to help you. Then it depends on What ringtone you have set for them. I created a voice note and used it as a ringtone and for some reason it stopped working and now when my mama calls it just beeps letting me know I missed a call. Even though the other voice notes work fine as ringtones. I haven't changed it yet.

Sure. Fist go to the desired Song and press Menu > Select (use as) > Select from following modes (Voice ringtone, messege tone, start up, shut down ).
Note that messege tone also works as multimedia

Motorola RIZR Z3 - Recordings as Alerts

Some phones will not let you set voice notes as a ringtone. If you get Motorola Phone tools, (available through motorolas website for download about $30.00) it has a ringtone creater that you could use to create a ringtone from a recording.
It also is syncronization software that will allow you to transfer files and back up your contacts.
