New switch i need a wiring diagram for a milwaukee 6230 678a porta band,someone yanked the switch out and im trying to replace it myself

What is the serial number on your saw? I need that to make sure I get the correct info for you.

Go to Milwaukee Tool website and try to check if you can download a manual or electrical diagram there. You can call or email them. Check the motor capacitor.
Are you using an old or new band saw blade? If it's old/dull, try different blade. If it's new, the weld might be really bad. Old Blade and Bad weld can cause the blade to jump off. I purchased band saw blades on www.sawblade.com . Great quality blades; they have porta band blades. Call them.

could be a couple problems, first the blade could be bad, the tires that are on the wheels, a loose axle bolt or the frount housing might be bent. First try another blade and watch for which pulley it rolls off of. Next try to wobble the pulleys and if you can the axle bolt has loosened, I use an impact driver to lock them in place along with loctite. Next if the above are OK check the front housing for being bent (that is a common thing) from the housing hitting after cutting a piece of steel. Let me know if you need more assistance.

Wiring of C2 has fuse, safety switch, flush switch and flush pump in series. If fuse is blown you probably need to replace pump. Instructions come with replacement pump.

It is probably something like a 6365 and on all the Milwaukee products they have a switch wiring diagram but nothing for the switch. I would recommend going to a local repair center with the switch and match it up with a new one probably less than 15.00 If you give me your location with zip code I can direct you to the closest one.
