Nokia 3220 when i turn on my nokia 3220b just shaking hands logo appear and it will automatically turn off and it shows CONTACT SERVICE,,my phone has a VIRUS??how can i format my NOKIA 3220b???reply ASAP pls....tnx

If Your Nokia 3220 shows the Contact service provider message? Means it locked to some Network!!!You need to Unlock it.,...then YOU can use any GSM Network Sim card in the Phone,You need to find which Country's Network it locked now? Then Get the Unlock code from here Prounlocking.com and Unlock it....

This will help you coz i have done many times success

First download and install Pheonix. Nokia Phoenix Service Software 2011 - Download secondly Download flash file from this link 7210c flash file and install it to C / programme files/pheonix..after finished this installation open pheonix Inside the interface at the> left top <there you see "File" click there and choose "open file" and then select the approprait Product type i.e"which is written in the back banel inside the battery of every Nokia(Type RM-000).After doing this again at the left top count from "File"1..2..3..the 4th one is "Flashing" press there when you click there you'll see three icon just select the "Firmware Update" again you'll see another interface.Look at the product code there should be blank and put your "mouse tool" at the straight end from the "Product Code" there is a Botton and choose the code which is written in the back side of your phone.e.g CODE:0000000.if the same code does not found just take one.After this you can see "Dead phone USB flashing" click that box.Now this is the last stage... Connect your phone with the USB to your PC and let the driver install ...wait for a moment.(If your phone working).Lastly after just finished (In case your phone is Dead,unable to switch on in normal mode start from here) Connect the phone to pc without powering...insert good battery and Click the "Referbish" after this, a message will prompt you "press power botton" press it and wait untill the phone will Restart automaticlly in normal mode 10-15 minutes.If you cannot understand just make a Reply thanks for visiting fixya.Good luck

It could be that battery is dead. Try plunging to charger for couple of minutes and turn on while plugin. If this does not work, bring it to a service center or get a new phone

it was tested by me in nokia classic series ,3110c ,3500c ,5130c etc blinking or hang only in NOKIA logo or handshake...no need to go to nokia care or cellphone shop to spend money..just do this tricks...
long press the *, 3, send, and power on...try up to 5 times and see for the result....

try another sim,, and if it not work again, check the sim pocket and the battery if the connection is lost when it has a sim.

update phone firmware

It is a firmware failure and needs to be reflashed/reprogram. But before you bring it to repair shop try this:

• Press and hold the GREEN (call), * and 3 buttons while turning it on.
• Press and hold until the shaking hands appears.
  

get it to service center if warranty is available or use nokia update service if available for his phone.
main thing make a flash to your mobile it will available in mobile service shops...it takes around 5mts to do that..and ur mobile ill normal

hi there you've go a software problem there try this manual formating somtimes it works but if not must go now to any nearest service center to reprogram your phone. ok!
so here's the tricks to format....
power off the phone first then PRESS and HOLD
"CALL KEY" + "* KEY" + "3 KEY" then power on the phone just hold and wait till NOKIA LOGO appears then release. finish, phone will be ok. you will know that you successfully format the phone cuz' all your data form the phone will be back to normal.

Power Switch prob.
maybe just because your phone powerswitch is damage or shortage'
or try to check you phone chassing and the power button, check it if is not press it.

or if you know how to Dismantle your phone open it and try to clean w/ laquer Thinner your phone power switch...
some power switch automatically turns on and off because is dirty or moise w your hand sweats...
much better to bring your phone to yhe nearby CellphoneShop..
