Phone dead i was using internet on my phone the next thing it went dead

then on your unstated PC try all USB ports, some crummy old laptops have only 100mA of current on USB ports and fail to run the motor with weak power like that.

The next thing I do with USB connected, is listen to side of case for the motor inside to spin, if silent that means the USB port is dead. (or drive is dead but I test the drive on other PCs so know it is not dead.)
ok it spins.
then disk manager is next, go there, and give it a drive letter.
if not done this step , explorer can't see the drive.
above manager can not see the drive, then use Device manager.
if missing there?, this external drive the USB port is dead or Microsoft does not support this drive or the drive is dead.


learn to test devices like this on 2 PCs to learn If it is good or not first. no lack of PCs on earth so have at it.

we next use a flash light, this PC has crummy , CCFL back lamp tubes that when dead screen goes, dead, as most have this old.
only few never used laptops last 10 years old.
so with the flash light (dark room) at an angle shin the LCD
see data, now on the screen, yes, that is a DEAD CCLF.
on ebay you see them selling new CCLF screens for this PC.

my bet the CCFL are dead. as most are this old.
All laps this old fail in this order,
BIG battery goes bad or shorts.
COIN cell dead.
CCLF dead ( ended about year 2010 , LED back lamps began)
HDD dead at 5 to 10 years old.

this is all Expected. all from carbon14 dating a PC, I can say that.

radio dead, that means no sound or nosound nor dial data?
does the am/fm and cd all fail, using real CDDA disks(store bought)
? if the radio is totally 100% dead that is lost power to radio.
fuses or lost ground to the radio.

the check engine light means one thing,.
get the car scanned, 1996 to now, all cars USA.
you scan it, they scan it.
i take it car starts and drives perfectly?
head lights work> and all outer things?

There are these things called fusible links, that may be your problem. What year is your vehicle?

try to change your charger cable

You can try first connecting this device on different port and check if it will be working but if still not working, the next thing that you can do is to try this on a different computer and if still not working device is already dead...

the phone is not dead it needs to be reflash n eprom to correct this issue.

ok so what u basically do is just keep the charger in the usb port. then take the battery out then plug it back in. this totally works!

cold does strange things.. check battery health with load test... check cables especially grounds... test for parasitic leak of electrical by inserting a test light between battery ground post and cable .. only faint light for radio and comuter should exist ..a bright light means a draw and should be discovered by removing fuses one at a time til located ...good luck

I had exactly the same problem. After unsucessfully looking for a solution on the net I removed the simm chip and set it aside. The next day, I put it on PC usb charge and left it overnight. The next day, I powered it up and it worked. I turned it off and replaced the simm and it is now working fine. Go figure...
