How to download the latest firmware from version 1.27 to 1.68

An upgrade and an update are two different things. If your device has the latest version of software/ applications, it will show that there are no latest updates available. A firmware upgrade is posted by Samsung or you do a custom upgrade. check custom upgrades for further clarification.

The Firmware Update Process
You begin a firmware upgrade by downloading a binary file package from the manufacturer's Web site. After the package is set up properly on a PC, an administrator can launch the actual upgrade from the wireless router's administrative console. The router will stop functioning if the upgrade fails to complete. For this reason, manufacturers generally recommend an Ethernet cable be run from the router to the PC to ensure maximum stability during the update. Consult the router's product documentation for details.
Immediately after purchasing a router, check the firmware version to ensure it is the latest version. Firmware can be installed on a router at the factory several months before the router is sold.
Then, check the manufacturer's Web site occasionally over time for any new firmware upgrade postings. Each time a firmware upgrade is posted, the manufacturer will provide notes detailing the enhancements it provides. Feel free to skip an upgrade if the new version does not offer any interesting features. However, if a router is performing sluggishly, freezing unexpectedly or experiencing dropped connections, firmware upgrade often supplies a quick fix.

Step I: Download the latest version of Samsung Kies from official site of Samsung Kies. The latest version of Kies is: Kies_2.0.0.11044.

Step II: Open Samsung Kies and connect your Samsung Wave with PC (Wait for driver installation, if you have attached your phone for the first time with your pc)

As soon as Kies will detect your phone it will offer a prompt of new firmware update available, see the screenshot below

Step III: Now you will face a window of 'Agree to the Terms and Conditions." You can choose the option of save and don't save the information. This option is that, Samsung will store your information of IP and hardware specifications on their servers for 2 years. It is totally dependent on you, which you want to choose.

Step IV: It is strongly recommended not to disconnect your phone from PC until the upgrading process is complete. So take care of it.

Within few minutes (depends upon the speed of your internet connection). Upgrading process will move on and will complete successfully.

Here is the samsung Official Product Support link. Firmware is available only only for Windows. Therefore i recommend that you connect you external drive with any other system with windows operating system and upgrade the firmware. Moreover, User's Manual and other related information and details are also available.

Also, try using CD/DVD ROM Cleaner because there may be some dust inside the drive that may prevent it from reading the disks.

try downloading the firmware again.
It is a possible corrupted file from the site.
you may be able to download it directly from the linksys site or contact them by phone to check that the file is valid
1.make sure you are downloading the correct version also from the site.

Make sure you downloaded the firmware from the official product page, if the firmware doesnt work try downloading an older version. Some firmwares have problems detecting updates.

Still, my guess is that you are not downloading from iriver site.

You have to upgrade the firmware to the latest version. Your firmware doesn't support deleting anything. Heres the site and it will tell ypu how to upgrade if you download the upgrade manual. hi your previous psp version is 3.80 m33 if yes your using custom firmware that why you can play game to your memory stick the problem is you upgrade your psp firmware to sony official firmware 5.01 you reinstall your firwmware again using custom firmware like 5.00 m33-3 cfw below with m33 or OE

Define upgrade? if you want to update the firmware go to Samsung's support site for the latest firmware and update instructions, however the current version showing there is 1.0 and that's probably the version you have, to check this select Setting, scroll down to and select About. If on the other hand you are asking about upgrading (replacing) the Hard Disk Drive this is possible but easily destructive and probably no cheaper than an simply replacing it with a new MP3 player given the cost of 1.8" HDD's. As for video playback, no unfortunately not.

The same problem happened to my sister when she reformatted. All you have to do is go on the internet fine the latest firwire software and download it on to your Zen V Plus.
