Have Audio, and backlights, but still no video on Polaroid 3732

I have a Polaroid 3732 and when I turn it on I know the backlights work because they light up all the wall behind the TV, and the audio works, but the screen is just black (lit black, not dead backlight black) It is fairly new and has not been dropped or kicked or something like that. Any ideas?

Try the diffrent inputs HDMI Composite component and see if the video comes on there are 4-10 diffrent inputs on these sets and make sure you select the right input on the menu the remote has a button for inputs a menu comes up and make your selection from there for the right input that you have connected to the tv most menus have TV (air) HDTV (air) video 1-6 HDMI and VGA

Polaroid FLM-3732 Television turns on then off

A common problem with this television is the power unit. Some of the capacitors go out on them within 2 years. You can buy a replacement power unit for about $150 or if you know how to use a soldering gun you can purchase the capacitors for about $5 and fix the unit yourself.

I just fixed my Polaroid 3732 and it cost me $3.49. I would push the power button and the standby light would come on but the picture would not appear. After I changed the capacitors it starts right up.

I have a Polaroid model TLX 04240B tv that works great for about 20 minutes then the screen goes black, if I turn the set off and back on it works for about 4 minutes before doing this again. Any advice?

Actually install a fan in the rear. 3 would be optimal

It was working fine the nite before an now it jus looks all scrambled with no color like im using bunny ears to get a signal, ran a new rca cable an still same effect my dvd player's hooked up to it is...

The fix is posted here! I took my tv in to a repair shop, since I am not mechanically inclined to make the repairs myself. $75 later it works!!
