Can't hear the ringtones

Well dear, there is no procedure to personalize the desired tones as ur message tone, u can only change the tones that are pre-loaded.
but yes for making a caller ringtone, u have to use Zune software. change the attributes of ur desired ringtone. set the genre of the tone as 'ringtone.' thats all

Go to settings, sound, notification ringtone and select the one you like.

Hi here are some solutions hope it can be helpful..Go to the setting on the menu.make sure that what profile setting specifically the volume the ringtone either text or call that was personalized was the one that was activated..

In the profiles menu, you can select the volume for the notifications you receive when messages or calls come in. Choose "Loud" to hear all notifications at an equal volume, equivalent to the maximum output possible.

check if the format of ringtone set is compatible with your phone..
try to restore the refactory settings once.

Go on settings.ringtones,move mouse pointing down to get message setting and open gallery with tones some tones are ringing tones some for alert and messages. Just click on one of them and that's it.
If you have a troubleshooting call Nokia providers and ask them they can explain all.
