Password hi... i have a nextel ic502 , but phone is locked by mistake. i dont know the password.. can someone help to reset it please. i can call noting
I have an ic502 motorola cell phone. I can use the keypad to dial a number and text but the problem comes in when I call a number where I then have to enter 1 to do this or 2 to do that etc. etc. - I am unable to dial the 1 or 2 at this point. Why would that be? Like I said, I can dial initially and text but can't do above and can't even check my voice mail. Uugghhh - anyone have any ideas??? Thanks. Your nextel/sprint k502 maybe 'Network Locked' and thusl not allow another network Sim to be used: if you are no nonger under contract, you maybe able to get a free NCK or NUK Network unlock code.
Your phone is locked to a mobile phone provider. You need to contact this mobile provider to ask for the unlock code (security code) for your phone. You need to provide proof of ownership etc and the phone's unique IMEI number which is located inside the phone under the battery. They use this number to generate the unlock code for your phone. They should provide you with instructions on how to enter this code into the phone. Once you unlock the phone, then you can insert a new SIM card in the phone.
you either have to do a factory reset on the phone or the previous owner of the phone (assuming there was one) has to release the phone or request a bill by calling nextel
You cannot use a Boost sim card in the phone, it HAS to be a powersource sim card. You may be able to purchase one of these at a Sprint Nextel Repair location, or via Customer Care Sales. Let me know how it goes, I do apologize for the incovience. Justin Please rate me if solution works
I do apologize, but you cannot UNLOCK a motorola phone, Call MOTOROLA care, to see if there is anything other that you can do, but with the Nextel SIM card, it is basically made, NOT to be unlocked.

Call your service provider and tell them what you typed in up there, they should give you a reset password then it would be working again. I had the same problem with my moto and nextel helped me out in 5 minutes.
First and formost, What you will need to do, is contact Sprint/Nextel customer care, to get what is called the PUK codes, if you have your phone on a Business/Personal/Corp account, you WILL need to have verification. This WILL NOT force you to lose your contacts, also just a friendly tip, Reprogramming the phone will NOT make you lose your contacts.....ever.
The only thing that could possible to this, is if you do a master reset, through the phone security options * if you have a older Update version *.
