You can try the procedure for the VM9311TS model (the one I have) - I
don't know if it'll work but it's worth trying. Put in a DVD, and let
it start playing. Then hit STOP on the remote twice, and enter the code
1264. If you were able to see the actual movie
at this point, you'd see a menu pop up. Push down twice, then ENTER. At
this point the blue screen should clear and you should see the movie
itself. You'll have other options on that menu, like a macrovision
option to allow you to see burned DVDs. Set what you like, then on the remote, hit SYS SETUP twice to lock in your choices.
Here's a Bypass to solve that.
Turn your 9312 on and set to radio then Using your remote enter 543210 and make sure you hear a beep each time, a new menu screen will pop up, click the hammer and screwdriver on the upper left side,Next press the menu line for brake override, a
sub menu will appear, select ON,Press the X at the lower left of the screen and you're done enjoy and be safe.
Go to your radio tuner screen and go to your set up page then use your remote and press 5,4,3,2,1,0 and hidden menu will pop up then you will have to press the tool looking button on the left side of the screen and it will give you an option to it off so you dont have to hook up the pink wire.
go to am/fm
then open the settings screen
next on your remote type 5,4,3,2,1,0 listening for each beep
a new screen should come up
after that look for brake override
go to www.ecoustics.com then click on forum at top click car audio then multimidea. and read Teir are bypass codes for several models here.just have to look for them.
At audiovox.com has some upgrade files for the jensen vm9312 that is supposed to fix this problem. First you have to find the vm9312 and then click on software updates. Audiovox makes Jensen products i believe.
