The machine itself must be balances as well. Make sure you are level front to back and side to side. You can adjust this by turning the screw feet on the bottom.

That is excellent! Now you know that the noise is caused by the laundry in the machine being out of balance! Try distributing the laundry around the basket at first and throughout the cycles if necessary. Obviously, you shouldn't do it during wash cycles, only during spin cycles (high speed drum motion).

SOURCE: LG Intello wm-1460FHD stops spinning during the wash load.

OE is a drain error (indicating the machine has not drained out in under 10 minutes). If the drain pump is not coming on at all then you have a bad drain pump motor. If it is trying to drain then you may have a clogged up drain hose. The most likely cause is a bad drain pump motor. Hope this helps.

Hotpoint aquarius wml760 noisey when spinning with stuff in but ok empty

more than likely the rear bearing has gone bad and when a load is applied the difference in weight distribution causes the knocking.

Hi.

If the pump is not even starting, then pump is probably faulty.

The pump is simply tested by energizing it. This test must be done by a technician.

Before replacing the pump there is another device that must be tested. It is the pressure switch that detects water level.

My frigidaire top loader fills with water at the beginning of the wash...then nothing. it just sits there full of water.

Hi, could be your timer motor, timer or water level switch, first push timer knob in and manually advance to wash or spin cycle (program) then pull knob, see if machine operates, let me know, then i can tell you exactly what's problem.also advance timer, to spin cycle (program) machine should pump out water, or you can lower drain hose into bucket and empty machine, you should empty machine and try again, let me know what happened, we can solved this together. good luck.

Kenmore Series 80 top loading washer that doesn't spin or agitate

Unplug machine, remove water pump and motor, behind the motor is a coupler, take broken parts to your local appliance parts store. Costs 16 bucks, replace the broken parts with new ones, reassemble machine. Never ever do a blanket/comforter in your machine again!!

Noise at the *** end of the spin cycle

Hi pils,
As before I am not sure how your machine is built, but what you describe sounds like a problem with either the basket drive block or the brake system.
The basket is going to be mounted to the spin tube with some sort of aluminum adaptor and a nut, at least that's how most all our machines are made. Sometimes the drive block becomes unseated from the drive tube coming up from under the machine and will make a lot of noise when the brake applies at the end of the cycle. This is usually accompanied by the water not being spun out of the clothes as well as it should.
It may be the brake "jumping" when it applies to stop the basket.
What ever it is, it has something to do with the load being reversed when the spin stops. When the machine is spinning, the torque from the motor is transferred through the drive mechanism to turn the basket. When the motor shuts off, this torque is reversed as the momentum of the weight of the spinning load of clothes becomes the driving force and it is transferred back down through the machine until it stops.
Try turning the basket by hand in the direction of the spin and see if you can recreate the noise at at a slow enough speed to be able to pinpoint where it is coming from.
