Im trying to hook up an ipod to the stero in my boat. the stereo is a kenwood DC 3022. When i hit the SRC button to scroll thru my menu options i only get "tuner, CD and all off". No auxillary options. How can i get an auxillary option to hook up my ipod? thanks.
Try putting the unit in standby via the "SRC" button FIRST..., then press the menu button and cycle through to the "AUX 1" option and activate this....then press menu button again. When the unit is next switched on, you should have an "AUX" option accessible via the "SRC" button which will cycle through all of the availale modes ....standby-tuner-cd-aux etc etc.

Replace the auxillary output cable. I used a $6 cable from uneeksupply.com. Kenwood 13 pin, 3.5mm MP3 aux cable. Fixed two boat radios with this solution. You coul also use an original replacement cable for $20.
