Open door fully. there is a hinge lock - usually a little arm on the hinge which comes up. engage hinge lock, partially close door and lift off

Removal and disassembly of oven door

The panels on the door , specially the glass panels can be removed easily if care is taken to remove the fitting screws.
You can use a good cleaner glass cleaner to remove any dirt that has deposited on the frame and glass panels.
Once the glass is dry it can be refitted , care taken to use gloves so as to avoid hand impressions .

The inner glass for a Zanussi oven is missing. Is it possible to have this replaced?

Hi,

Has the inner glass come away from the metal inner door?

If yes, then there are two ways to do this.
The first is to buy a new inner door and fit it to your outer door.
The second is to get a tube of high temperature sealant and repair the existing door.
To repair it you'd have to take the door off the oven and take it apart. Easier than it sounds.
Once the door is off and taken apart, it's a case of take the glass off, clean the glass and the metal, apply the sealant, place the glass on top and then put a weight on it for 24 hours to set.
Then rebuild the door and refit it to the appliance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Replace inner oven door glass on kitchenaid wall oven

To replace the door glass do the following:

0 Check if there is a hinge stop bracket located at the hinge point of entry on the oven, in that case remove it.
1 remove the oven door by pulling it up and removing from the the hinges. If glass is broken , then secure glass with tape. Have a table with a cloth on top ready to lay the door.
2 Remove the outer screws , starting from lower side of the panel.
3Removethe inner screws. Keep all set of screws ordered, and take note of theorder you remove them. You will follow reverse order in reassembly.
4 the frame will be free now,
5 Remove the external glass panel and leave it in a safe place.
6 Replace the inner glass.
7 Clean outer glass and metal door, re-assemble it and mount it back

I also report testimonials for your model:

"
removed the door from the oven by releasing clips attached to the door hinge -- very nicely engineered. Removed about 6 philips head screws to allow the door assembly to be taken apart for access to the glass. Lifted out the broken glass, cleaned the inside of the door, installed the new glass, reassembled the door (a two minute project), and reattached the door to the oven. Cleaning the inside of the door"

"
I removed the oven door by lifting it off with the hinges. Disassembled the door parts one at time making sure I remember where I removed the screws until I am able to get to the broken glass. The most difficult part is making sure that the insulation strip & the gasket stayed in place after I replaced the broken glass & doing the reverse process of installing the parts together. Relatively easy process as long as you remember where the parts go. When in doubt, I had to refer to the pictorial of the disassembled door shown on your website. "

The inner glass panels are bonded to the frame with a heat proof adhesive.

The chances are you will have to get a complete new door assembly.
