Due to power management it is not likely 3g will be offered. The iphone second gen due at the end of the year might have 3g. But for the first iphone 3g will will use too much power from the battery.

It's possible that Apple will upgrade it, but it's not sure if it'll be in the near future.

How will iphone 3gs work with cellone gprs

Well iPhone 3Gs is an extremely fast device. For you to get all its resources used , CellOne GPRS services would not satisfy, if you really want to enjoy your iPhone 3Gs go for the 3G services. However, your phone would have no issues whatsoever, and yes when you compare the GPRS on 3Gs it will be comparatively better than what you must have / might experience in any other phone.

    3g iphone housing

I am going to say, no. Not only would most likely ruin the phone to remove the back, but the original iPhone and the iPhone 3G are actually a slightly different shape, and I am sure that the internal workings would make the backings entirely incompatible. If you aren't short on money and you REALLY want a better looking backing for your iPhone, check out I don't know if they still will do original iPhones, but they might. Plus, that way, you don't even have to be limited to black and white. Hope that helps.

    IPhone 3G Error 0xE8000001

I just had this problem and it turned out to be... It didn't like my iPod cable. Switched to the iPhone cable and it worked.
Seems to be an iPhone 2.0 prob, or 3g prob, since I was using the iPod cable to sync my old iPhone just fine.

    IPhone vs. iPhone 3G

The iPhone 3G has all the features of the first one,
    plus faster 3G data downloads,
GPS, and a better battery life.
Externally, the phone's casing is slightly changed, with a thinner edge and thicker middle, but a flush headphone jack and solid-colored back make up the only other major differences visually. Everything else from the screen to the number of buttons and switches on the outside are the same.
