Canon mv 700.. records sound but no picture

Make sure the Audio Recording Mode is turned off. Go to Camera settings and look for that option under Audio settings. To properly operate the video recording, the image below can help you.

I HAVE A COMPAQ PRESARIO 700 MV WITH LOW MEMORY. I NEED TO ADD ADDITIONAL MEMORY. 700 MV BY COPAQ PRESARIO IS AN OLD SERIED. HOW CAN I RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM.

You'll have to find out the specs for the maximum ram for your model. You can do that from the manufactures site. Then take out a stick of ram and make sure to match the speed like pc100/pc330 etc. The worst that will happen is you may get a blue screen/ lock up or nothing at all will happen.

Display Image after shooting

It sounds like your CCD imager is broke, but it sounds like your saying that the images look fine as your taking them, but only show up bad after stored.... If that's the case, then I will need more info, but if they DON'T look clear on the screen BEFORE you press the shutter, it's the CCD, which is usually an expensive repair.

Sound problem

Make sure that the sound cables are connected,If you are using the RED BLUE GREEN cables, they do not carry sound. You have to run a set of sound cables RED AND WHITE to the Archos from the cable BOX or whichever component you are recording from.Good Luck.

Sound is ok, but do not record images.

I have had the same problem since I purchased mine 4 years ago and it has been repaired 3x and is in the shop for a 4th. I had the extended warranty and Futureshop refuses to acknowledge that it is a Lemon and should be replaced as they don't consider resoldering wires as a "repair". My unit has been in the service center a total of 12 weeks over the 4 years. The service center recommends Sony Camcorders and the Claim center said they get few Sony camcorders so I would say the Canon problem is an issue that is common. Sorry to say. Mike

DVD recorder -- displays blue horizontal lines only

Most DVD players today are very inexpensive.
If your system is working well otherwise, I suggest purchasing a new DVD player. Try that solution. If for any reason it does not work then another problem may exist which may include an issue with your TV!

Sony F55 Recorded Display

The filename (e.g. DSC0012.jpg) shows the image number, the filespec shows the date and time recorded. Most software will give you document info about resolution of the image. I wouldn't worry about what the battery status was when the shot was taken or how many other images were on the Mstick. I guess I'm not sure what you need.
