We had the same problem as mmmehr.
After unblocking a scummed up waste pipe, the machine worked for one cycle, then remained in drain phase, even after opening the door.

We tilted the machine backward as suggested - nothing happened - then tried forward. LOADS of water poured out. We started the machine again and after a couple of minutes it sprang into life.
    TOP TIP! Thanks!!

Anti flood device has been activated, this means you have water in the base of appliance. most likely a leak, or if you have been using 3 in 1 tablets, and rinse aid this will over foam appliance and foams leaks into base.. try tipping d/w back to let water out of base..then try d/w again... if anti flood activates again...call an engineer.. ps check big nut that secures salt container to base of d/w, it can come loose which will cause water to leak into base ally

Bosch washer door won't open after wash is done

The door is probably locked, because the water is still draining. If this is not the answer, the the suction between the dor and the opening is too strong and you must get it weakened by a professional. There is one more solution, and that is to unplug the machine, reset it, and then try opening the door.

Washer Dryer - drum is filled with water even when switched off and door can still open!

Try the valves inside the back where the water hoses connect to the machine they should default to the closed position when water is not required

Bosch SGV43A03 DISHWASHER: pump drains all the time, even if reset!

Typically you could possibly have a leak in the base or sump which activates a little float switch. This in turn switches the drain pump on continuously and deactivates the programing cycle.Sort out the leak.
